Mrs. Angela Gouwens To All Instructors

Angela Gouwens loves teaching and incorporating activities and projects to make learning fun. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and a Biblical Counseling certification.

Angela has a passion for teaching the Bible and theology to kids with the goal of pointing them to the hope and love they have in Christ. She also loves teaching history. She enjoys helping others study and learn from the past and to see the providence of God in history. Angela likes to equip her students to know how to study, gather information, think critically, and be able to discern truth from error.

Angela and her husband, Nick, have three children – Kylie (11), Jonathan (9) and Brynn (3). They have been homeschooling since 2016. Angela has enjoyed fostering a love of learning in her kids and pointing them to Christ in every subject they study. Outside of school and teaching, Angela enjoys biking, Pilates, singing, and planning parties.
