Q:

What is the schedule for your program?

A:

We meet every Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM for 28 weeks, starting after Labor Day and ending in May. Our classes take place in St. Charles, IL. Parents should plan to stay on campus with their children during class hours.

Q:

Is this a drop-off program?

A:

No, we are not a drop-off co-op. Parents are required to remain on campus with their children for the duration of the school day.

Can I choose individual classes or do I have to commit to a full day?

A:

You have the flexibility to choose! You can enroll in just one class to supplement your homeschool plan, or you can opt for a full day of classes if you'd like a more immersive experience. It's all about what works best for you and your schedule!

What age groups do you serve?

A:

We offer a variety of classes for both middle and high school students, with a primary focus on Science, English Language Arts, Fine Arts, and Christian Studies. Additionally, we offer a selection of classes for Pre-K and Elementary School students to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for younger children.

What subjects do you offer for middle and high school students?

A:

We offer a wide variety of classes, but our primary focus are in the areas of: science (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, earth science) ,  language arts (e.g., literature, writing), fine arts (e.g., art, music, theater), Christian studies (e.g., Bible, theology, ethics).

Where are your classes held?

Classes are held in St. Charles, IL. Detailed location information will be provided upon registration.

A:

If you miss a class, please reach out to the instructor. While we don't have formal make-up days, instructors may offer resources or assignments to help students catch up.

How do I register for classes?

A:

Registration details, including deadlines and pricing, are available in our handbook. We recommend registering early as space in some classes may be limited.

Do you offer any resources for homeschooling families?

A:

Yes, we aim to support homeschooling families by providing a structured, supportive environment for their students. We also offer guidance and recommendations on how to incorporate our classes into your overall homeschool curriculum.

What is your refund policy?

A:

Refunds are available if a class is canceled or if a student withdraws before a specified deadline. Please check our full refund policy in the handbook for more details.

Is GCA a non profit organization?

A:

GCA is a registered nonprofit organization, committed to upholding Christian values and serving homeschooling families with integrity and transparency. Our nonprofit status allows us to offer affordable programs while ensuring that all contributions are used to further the mission of our co-op.
