Mrs. Suzana Rivera To All Instructors

Sue Rivera is married to Chris Rivera, who are both followers of Christ. They started their homeschool journey in 2016 around 10 years ago. Their two children have been on this journey with them for 10 years now. Sue Rivera began tutoring classically in 2017 at the elementary level through her previous community. This included tutoring fine arts drawing, studying great classical artists, and tutoring music theory. She also presented great composer studies. Sue led science experiments of various kinds in group settings highlighting the scientific method and probability experiments.

Sue loves art, and English. In high school, she was in several drawing and painting classes. She won several painting awards entered in local art exhibits in Glen Ellyn. In College she studied drawing as she followed her passion for creating beauty through art. She holds an Associates degree in General Studies, speaks Portuguese, and holds a TESOL certificate (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). She is also knowledgeable in Spanish.

Sue Rivera currently tutors math and reading in Sycamore, IL to K-8 grade students. She also has served at her current church where Sue and Chris lead worship and help in other ministries as well. She has participated in women's Bible studies and discussions through out her life in different settings.
